The aim of this study is to understand 9th grade students' skills in solving algebraic expressions and to identify the educational materials that help them acquire these skills. Students' knowledge of algebraic expressions in 9th grade is related to their success in later school years. Therefore, it is important to determine which skills are necessary to improve 9th grade mathematics knowledge and which instructional materials are effective.

The mathematical knowledge that children have when they start kindergarten is related to their success in later school years. Therefore, it is important to determine which skills are necessary to develop mathematical knowledge in preschool. In this study, early mathematics skills of 4-6 year-old children (48-84 months) attending preschool institutions were examined.
